Vacation Time 3/7-2/24/14

So it's been a while and this is still not a recent activity I write to you about. I had three weeks of no work and it was lovely. Not much to write about here and I'll let the photos do the talking. I made a couple trips out to Lamar Valley, a trip to Bozeman as well as Livingston. Most of my time off was spent watching Netflix. I was addicted to Mad Men and White Collar but finished all the available seasons.

Mad Men is about an advertising agency in the 60's. A enjoyed most of it but there are some episodes in the beginning that were rather slow but it turned out to be a decent show.

White Collar is about a highly skilled thief that gets caught by the FBI and is the informant. The show has some funny moments and some decent action.

Both shows are very different from one another but kept me entertained and I would recommend either one to you if it sparks your interest.

Before I post the pictures, I do have give a shout out to the people that housed me for those three short weeks. I can't thank them enough and it was a pleasure. Thank you to Dennis, Joanna and Bell (sp? also, a dog).
Bell, admiring the view.

Bob, copying bell.

There were sooo many deer right outside the house.

Here is Matilda.

Bob and what I thought was a lot of snow until I started my preseason job.

Bison Bison, playing follow the leader.

The road to Bunsen Peak.

The road to Gardiner.

Devil's Slide.

Another one of Devil's Slide with more to it.

History of Devil's Slide.
Big horn sheep trying to be a bison or is it the other way around?

Finding grass that might be greener.

An american dipper.

Lamar Valley.

Two coyotes fighting over some food.

Now there is three but one looks to be in time-out.

Pronghorn also known as antelope.

Antelope grazing and resting in front of Seplurcher Mountain.

A newly formed terrace next to the road.

They might need another log so it doesn't go into the road!

Captured this one nonblurry photo of an who was chasing a raven with food in its mouth.

Undine Falls.
About three weeks ago, some idiot went in the park and shot three bison and left them for nothing. Stupid and pointless. None the less the next two photos are some what inspiring.
A bison leaving church after praying for his fallen brothers.

Bison protesting outside the courthouse to find the killer.
